hello, is it me your looking for?

"i can see it in your eyes, i can see it in your smile
you're all i've ever wanted and my arms are open wide,
'cause you know just what to say, and you know just what to do
and i want to tell you so much.
i love you"

day 6. walked under a ladder, stepped on the road.

so here i am, on my lonesome.
woke up this morning to find no sunshine peeking through the clouds. fog and mist everywhere, no cups of tea avaliable, no holli and no exam till 11.30. 'sniff' :(
had a dream last night, it seems to be very recurring;
i have recently been very unfortunate within the 'love' department and seem to be constantly feeling abit on the bleu side. i am contemplating whether to go to bed and stay there, however, that would be admitting defeat and i refuse to do that. it would also be extremely hard to make myself cups of tea from my bedroom.

i wrote my very late christmas list last night. (14 days to go!)
heres one thing that i'm very excited about,

these wonderful boots are from river island. normally i don't shop there but i am craving for a pair of doc martens and ebay seems to be low on the size 4's. so here it is, my hopeful chrsitmas presant. i loooooooooove them. i was also hoping for a 1960's record player. fingers crossed.

My inspiration of the day,

i love the simplicity of the last photo.
hope you all have a wonderful day.
love, tay.

la la la

life was going well until tay started bumming me out with her depressed diary.
'thanks hol' :P
so today, not much occured. pink floyd 'money' is currently filling our heads on the box thats playing music. sitting here till the clock strikes half past 3.
surprisingly ok.
it's nice.
woke up this mornin', weather a little nippy.
beautiful.

looking forward to the vintage and craft fayre this weekend, anyone else joining us? hoping to seek out some fabulous finds whilst trying not to spend to much money,
(no chance!)
talking of christmas, we have been thinking of possible new years resolutions,
(tradition that we do every year)
however, this year, instead of trying to achieve amillion we have decided to focus on one and one only. considering that this will be a very very very big thing to take into account, we would like some suggestions as too what we could try to achieve for 2010..wow, already!
hope your all looking forward to christmas as we most certainly are!
too excited all ready i think :)

here are some snap shots to get you in the festive mood;

that's all. love, holli + tay.

pause of thought

sitting around for 2 hours. oh the joy.
aswell as having to switch rooms every half an hour.
wishing for a big cup of tea and a vinyl player, perhaps santa will bring one for us?
the weather is beginning to reflect our moods.
any inspiration to brighten up our day?

love, holli + tay.

baked beans and floral curtains

before i go ranting about the things i'd love to share with you all.....let's get
better acquainted with one another.
first things first, my name is tay.
i'm a dainty 16 year old and not your average one.

i enjoy the simple things in life... cups of tea in front of the fire, worthwhile rain,
vintage and craft fairs, frosty mornings, big tee's, charity shops, a good book and
i'm a complete sucker for anything to do with romance or the years that have been.

current favourite colours are navy blue and eggshell green,
i appreciate real artists who inspire me;
micheal jackson, queen, baycity rollers, eric clapton, jhonny cash, john denver,
sam cooke, john lennon, stevie wonder.
i have a love affair with my camer.
i love vinyls and could live forever in a big wolly c
ardigan!

...

if i could, i would willingly live right there on that picnik spot.

my current favourite photo's that have inspired me alot
this week are these....
and...
this.
the most inspired and gorgeous photography i have come across so far.
(click on first photo for source).

ever looked up to the sky and dreamed about being that high up?
dreamed about being so careless and free that nothing else matters,
except making sure your strong enough to fly south in the winter.
i do.
too much.

that's all.
tay
xx

spaghetti hoops and dry cleaning.

nice to meet you. je'mapelle holli.

i love rainy days, and peculiar things.
but most of all the simple things in life, they seem to bring the most complex string of thoughts,

dont you think?

i must admitt i do love the winter, which sounds odd as i seem a summery person. i guess my inspiration has and will forever be in the hearts of 'true' artists, damien rice, pink floyd, suzanne vega, 5oclock people, acdc, deep purple, prince, eels, elbow and eagles.

the classics.

i'm not into happy endings or love at first sight, i think it's safe to say that we don't decide our fate. but i do love having someone who you can just sit with for hours on end.
not that lucky i guess.
i have to say these photos are truley amazing, i'm sure you'll all appreciate them as much as i have.

and..

vinyls, cups of tea, somewhat 'to' warm fires, odd bits and bobs, over due books, lonesome charity shops, overpatterened cardigans and tins for storing special things are all secret loves of mine.

that's all for now folks. ciao bella x
